Got my hands on a butchered up Manco Dingo. Half the roll cage had been cut off, the other half was welded to the main frame. Engine mount plate was long gone. The spindle brackets looked like cooked lasagna noodles they were so bent up. But it was only $40. Fixed it up, rode it, and broke it...

Ok... Finally got ALL the parts, got the kart all put together, (with a brand new 40 series TaV2), and went to take a test ride. Went 4 feet... Got the kart back in the garage and take a look, to find my TaV2 has come loose. All four mounting bolts have pulled out of the block. And it appears...

Thanks for the replies. I too have failed to find a bolt on kit. Now I'm thinking about going old-school. I will be looking to see if I can find/fab a pulley to the flywheel and use a 12v starter/gen from a golfcart or old lawnmower. Shouldn't be too complicated... I hope...

Mine is 2-3 years old. Briggs is always expensive. But they usually are good quality machines. I wonder if parts for the newer ones are interchangeable with the older model?...
