Wedge a 2x4 into the back side of the rim and smack with a mini sledge. Be sure to continue to turn the wheel as you hit it. I had the same problem, with the same kart and evenutally broke it loose doing this.

What size sprocket and chain did you run? #35, #40/41? I'm getting ready to build one and may be pinging you for support... :)

Well, I cleaned the carb and airfilter and put a .018 low speed jet in it and it still takes 6+ pulls and manually engaging the throttle to start this thing. Runs great once I get it started. Any other thoughts? I appreciate the help.
