Emailed the second one and asked if it worked. Don't like the looks of the first one as guy said it's sold as is. I know absolutely nothing about the subject so I don't want to get something that might not be working because I have no way of knowing if it's broken or I'm just using it wrong...
My question about the 2nd one is, where do your legs go? I'm not a tall guy but I'm about 5'11 and not thin... It looks a bit small or awkward. I haven't seen it in person but it can't fathom how my legs would fit through that triangle and around them doesn't seem right either. Which is the...
I think for now I'll just purchase a cheap used frame from someone and go from there. I don't have the money to invest in the welder really right now anyway. Thanks for the help guys.
You could build something like they use on bike wheels for those little blinking headlights. It wouldn't give you any real light though and it would blink constantly...
Well, as it's not a vital thing(meaning just a side project), I'd say sub $100 with sub $50 preferred.... I'm sure that's laughable though. But, I'm hopeful at least.
I would like to learn to weld so I can build a frame. I don't have a lot of cash. Therefore, I'm looking on craigslist at welders and stuff. HOWEVER, I have no idea what to look for... Is there a minimum type of welder you must have to be able to give your frame strength?
*Pressure* :worried2: haha
Also, that's why I figured I'd learn on go karts. I'd love to be able to repair my own cars and stuff but we don't have any that we can live without haha. We had 2 lawn mowers and only one worked so I figured the other one would be the perfect experiment.
Well, I'd love an RAGB I just don't think I can afford it. I was trying to figure out how to build something like it and I'm considering something like the spider gears you're talking about but I'm not sure how I'd mount them.
