I don't mean to be critical, but you have to much heat in your welds on the last pic. To much heat will make the metal weak and prone to breaking. You are doing a fine job.

Well I guess what I'm asking in a round about way is has anybody here installed the kit? It always seems like there is some problem when buying parts online. Where I live there is one Chinese motor shop and the guy dosent seem to know alot about the performance end.
I was thinking about doing the 110cc big bore kit on my sons 90. How much difference in power would it be? I would like it to be able to go in the sand. These kits are cheap online $ 40.
the filter has what looks like to be steel wool inside of it. so I soak the filter in tranny oil, cut a black sock, zip tie it on and call it good. seems to work for a pre filter just fine.
