My sons sunl 90cc gokart needed some extra power so I thought I would try this. I machined a spacer to go between the intake and the carb. Wow what a difference it made. It has some low end torque and great throttle response. I am going to try and post some pics.

you see it done on hot rods all the time so I thought why wouldn't it work on this. the first one I made went from the intake to the head and it was one inch long. it made a little difference. then I made two four inches long, the one you see in the pic and the other from intake to head. the one from the carb gets ice cold and the other gets way hot. so I took the head side off and it works better. I guess the cold air right into the head is the trick.

Yeah, cold air is more dense, therefore, more fuel and air going into your engine to get burned, therefore, more power.

the filter has what looks like to be steel wool inside of it. so I soak the filter in tranny oil, cut a black sock, zip tie it on and call it good. seems to work for a pre filter just fine.

Powder coat = 5+ HP. I'm stashing this one away in my bag of tricks lol. Nice work there.

Don't forget the wings, obnoxiously loud non-performance exhaust, neon lights under the car, and the ridiculous amounts of decals. I think all of that adds 50hp
