I bought this Manco kart to rebuild as a mini-kart for a little kid. Look at this weld. Have you ever seen one worse!:D

That's a weld? I wouldn't call that a weld... That's brutal- I think my buddy did that! I hope you slapped the guy. Did he do it with a car battery wired backwards and a pound of galvanized nails?

... for lack of better words, it looks like someone play-doh'd it back together with a turd.

Even for a beginning welder, I think it would take effort to make something look that bad.

Oh, wow. How much did he pay you to take and fix his junk, anyway? :) Well, you've got your work cut out for you- If you've cut it already, that is...

The first looks like our old plum trees with the black knot canker infection.

So true my friend, but of the ones that grew, the plums were great.... I digress to say the kart is a more a lemon though.

I'm guessing that IA was canceled in the area do to low enrollment, but the need for the basic skills still exist. Work with the young kid who did this, teach him right from wrong. (Even if he is in his 40's.)

But... but... the kart has held together. Eh? Might look like shiite, but it's in one piece. Could have been my work, but no, I'd have ground the bugger down just to hide it.
