swaping tecumesh with a predator on a murry explorer first timer any advice?

FWIW, I just swapped out a Tec for a 212 Pred on a Murray. Easy peasy, simple as pie. Yes, the Tec oozes sex, but the Pred cranks out of the box with a half pull...

Can you help me ID this Kart?

Cool kart! Very similar to a Dingo too. I wonder if that motor config is stock? The fuel cell looks a bit out of place... If you can get 'er cheap, bring it home.

Single Seater Kids Yard Kart - Please Help I.D.

Yep, I'm down with the "minor design changes". I'll bet the assembly line weren't held to exacting standards, day in and day out.

Check this out... http://www.gokartsoftexas.com/redcarter4sold.html After lots of searching...I still can't confirm that they are Carter "Super Wheels" karts. It is however the exact frame that I have.

Single Seater Kids Yard Kart - Please Help I.D.

Thanks for your help! Sell it? Hmmmm. Let me think about it. I've got the Manco Dingo, the Thunder Kart, the Shaller Single, a Murray Nitrox...and now this little single. I've ran out of room, so anything's possible! Thanks again for your help!

Greetings Toy...I'm a Southern Negro man, and we say "crunk" when the motor has started or cranked up. Us Southerners, especially us Negro's have a slang all our own. Sorry. Regarding the Tec's, they do require extra love and they do have that Mojo when run. I've got a LOT of kids, and having...

Single Seater Kids Yard Kart - Please Help I.D.

After extensive searching, these karts (IMHO) are most likely Klipper or Pathwinders. Those have the single post steering support and come from the factory with a number on the side plate. Have yet to find a single seater like our karts...I'll continue to poke around. Made in Illinois I believe...

Single Seater Kids Yard Kart - Please Help I.D.

Thanks J for your reply! Yep, the karts are like two long lost brothers. Did you modify the brake rod or add that from scratch? I have nothing, and need to figure out what to do for brakes. Did you do the bending yourself? If so, would you mind sharing the technique? Thanks again...Cheers!

Single Seater Kids Yard Kart - Please Help I.D.

This little kart was a freebie...and came with a vintage 3.0 hp Briggs motor. I'm curious as to what kind of kart this is...it has no markings that I can find. No rails.... The hubs have ale mite grease fittings and are not painted steel. The rims look almost like aluminum, silvery, never...

Deals on motors at Harbor Freight

I just purchased a 212 Predator that was on sale for $119.00 using the 20% coupon (cashier used it within my iPhone). Out the door for $99.00 bucks. After oiling and fueling up, she crunk on the first pull. This puts buying parts, time and travel trying to make Tecumseh's run in a bad light ...

    What Model is This?

Do this: Open up Google in a new browser window. Perform a Google search using "Yerf Dog Go Kart"...but search "images" instead of web. You will get only pictures of Yerfs instead of web page links, etc. Several images down into the stack I saw two karts like yours complete with roll bars. I...

    Shaller Concessions Kart (Wheel/Tire Options)

My latest project is designed 12x4x5 Heavy Duty slicks. Is there any other possible wheel/tire options besides this? I see slicks that are wider in the 5" rim configuration, but are 1" shorter. A concessions kart is already super low, so I don't think an 11" tall tire would be wise. Any...
