Can anyone tell me the make and mode please?

My 2007 Tomberline crossfire 150cc and proof that timberline at on point made karts. Did I say timberline sorry common mistake:oops: But you're right in the fact that chinese karts are hard to ID and tomberland has not made a gas powered anything sense 2009 that I know. But the kart above looks...

Can anyone tell me the make and mode please?

Chinese make has a gy6 and yerfdog is the performance parts company for that type of motor warning they are hard on upkeep. There are about a thousand different versions of this same buggy and the company that produced this frame doesn't make this model anymore and unfortunately there is a...

    Briggs And Stratton Discussion

Any thing with plastic cams I tend not to trust and try to find a cast iron or forged replacement cam and timing gear. Also I was able to find parts for some old engines on partstree.com as long as you have the engine code and serial number the site is easy to use for instance I was able to...

I got a new project....tell me what you think

Willmatrix ¿Are you driving on pavement or grass or both? ---------- Post added at 08:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:30 PM ---------- Now that you say that JTspeed deamon I agree and wouldn't widening the frame and or using wider wheels help prevent roll risk of course you'd then...

I got a new project....tell me what you think

I would stick with the good old fast 5hp briggs just because they are easy to mod and are hard to destroy not to mention the briggs will most definitely be safe and reliable and will more than likely outlast your frame. A Briggs and Stratton was on my first kart from when I was 5 I'm now 16-17...

After 10 - 15 minutes of riding loses all the power

I agree with this guy but if those things don't work check your valve gap clearences cold then hot because when your motor heats up your exhaust valve might not close or seal all the way and you lose compression if they are off.

Hi my name is Michael I live in Tusk county Ohio my first go kart was a old locked up 5 horse briggs fun horse go kart that my dad fixed up for me and it shook so bad that the welds holding the tubular frame were breaking. That kart ran until the day the throttle got stuck and slammed into a...

timberline go kart and GY6 Chinese sourced engine

The Lifan version is the only reliable one but it's been altered so much that it can't be used on any other platform other than motorbike and I can't find any Lifan engines that are not super expensive. If I do find one I am probably going to heavily mod it then find a way to throw it in my...

timberline go kart and GY6 Chinese sourced engine

The GY6 engine design is every where and is known and sold by many names such as yerfdog and Lifan but where did it come from and why is it so hard to keep one of these in opperation. I have a timberline crossfire with a 150cc howitt GY6 and have had so many problems with it such as ignition...

why wont my predator 212 idle down when the screw is turned?

If you can try adjusting the air fuel mix if its to rich or to lean it could cause a high idle speed. If not check for vacuum leaks in and around the carb. ---------- Post added at 08:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:05 PM ---------- check gaskets around the carb if even one carb...
