most lickly it will but with gear reductions and wheels half the size of the bandits im hoping it will just move along gently dont want any speed in it yet lol
hi id check the spool holder i have a clarke 90en had the same prob with plastic spool holder, the plastic parts rubbing against each other caused lumps which was locking the spool holder solid, sanded them back and applied ptfe greace brought from good model shops, no probs now.
hi have a look at my gearbox :-) made from a suzuki bandit 600 internals swaped em round a bit got a reverse as well works fine out of the car not tested under load yet though just look under may in the build diary

hi its the standard thrower clutch from the suffolk engine i was concerned about gear changing but ive had it running this afternoon and was able to select each gear with out any problems crunching as long as throttle is released before changing. just have to wait and see how it works under load lol
the best cure is to prevent as much as posible. get your mixture bang on i use a gunsons colortune its a clear sparkplug you can see the colour of detonation in the chamber, and also i swear by redex can find it on any motorshop shelf in the uk not sure about other countries, i have an 850 volvo...
hi if you have a spare nut try this has wroked for me in the past.
cut the nut in half i.e looking down through the hole make sure you do it point to point of the hex clean off any burs then put the two halfs around the thread of the shaft past the worn end,
MAKE SURE YOU LINE THE NUT UP...
