Couple of questions. I tried searching. Okay running that predator 420. Have a 54 and 9 tooth sprockets with a comet 40 setup. On my driven, it's a reverse wound. But how much preload should I put on this? When lining up the driver and driven, do I want it dead even at idle? Or line it up even...

Yea just leaving it w/o a battery. It's for the woman and kids anyways. 1 pull and it fires right up. Just wanted something for too ride while I'm on my 3 wheeler. She doesn't like anything without a steering wheel lol

It has a throttle linkage setup on the motor stock.

I eliminated the battery, yea it's nice and all. But I was thinking since it doesn't charge it and I can't run lights. Too heck with it. So I eliminated the start and went back with the kill switch on the steering wheel. It works great keeping it simple. Now I need to get a stiffer return spring...

Nice!!! I extended the lines for the key start, and the motor won't shut off when I turn the key too off lol, I'm stumped. Any ideas?

That's the plan gran pann. I figured that was the spot for a battery version. I drilled that yesterday. I was thinking about the key start too. Thanks

My uncle had several old riding mowers in the back so I grabbed a battery mount and cover off a old snapper. Painted motor mount and battery tray. Post pics later. Everything seems to be working out, just putting a lot of thought into this.
