I still have a lot of work to do. I’ve got almost all the bits and pieces collected to start welding the engine plate and hanging the axle. Just gotta figure out the final drive and find the time to put it all together.

I got this kart for essentially free. Can’t get the engine going so I am swapping it to a stage 1 Tillotson 212 with a 30 series. Looks like i ordered the axle 2” too big and i will have to widen the rear and to accommodate. Welder will be here some time today 🤑

yeah that nut was really tight I did loosen a bit. I’ll try a little more and double check the throttle cable. It sounded like the governor was kicking in. I’m calling it a night and will pick up in the morning. Thanks for your help, I’ll keep researching.
