    AC System discussion

Hello! I wanted to begin a discussion here about using an AC system for a project I am thinking about doing. The goal of using an AC system would be that the rig is lighter, since not as many batteries are necessary. (you really only need 1) Here's how I imagine it: A 12V 50+AH battery...

Need help/ideas on an Electric go kart

I am gunna finish up my steering system this weekend, using the idea from this site, so that's easy textbook stuff. I also figured out a way to brake without doing anything fancy. I'm taking a bicycle steering system and using that on my back wheels, fairly simple. If I can, I'll make a video...

Need help/ideas on an Electric go kart

Thanks for the link, but I truly am a complete newbie at go karting and have no clue on which 1 I should get. Can you recommend 1 for me? (even if it's expensive, i guess I'll just have to start working a bit again) About the solar panel thing, my parents are strongly against me sucking up...

    6.5 clone bad acceleration

I'm no expert, but I would recommend having more teeth/belt area on your power wheel, and less on the motor shaft. This will sacrifice a little bit of your speed, but it really helps on hills and stuff to have more torque. It's like a bike, you don't accelerate in your highest gear, nor do you...
