i got a tillet ML semi padded fiberglass seat off a shifter kart for sale. i got a different seat and dont need this one any more. i'm looking to get $25 plus shipping, it has some mounting holes drilled in it already and some holes where weights were mounted. but still in good useable shape...

because even if the bike is rideable it can need alot of work and the bike is not worth it. The Kx 125 he is taking the motor from, it looks like a mid 90's in pretty beat shape, is maybe worth $600-$700, but all the bearings can be toast, it can need a new chain and sprockets, ect. its not...

well, the karts mostly done, i need to run heat cycles and put in some antifreeze and figure out how to bleed the head of air which i was hoping someone on here would have an idea? any help? and just saying, i would not recomend building any 500cc shifter kart, mabey an off road kart would be...

i ended up buying a cr500 from an older model and its a thicker metal so i should be able to modify it easly, i bought it for 20 bucks so what ever happens dosent matter really

i could but then the expansion chamber wouldnt work as designed, they are a paticular length and the lenght starts at the exhaust port in the cylinder

i considered re routing the original exhaust with cutting and welding, but the pipe is so thin the welder i have will burn through it in a heart beat, i thought about a heat shield but the exhaust litteraly touches the seat from where its at now, so i could move the seat more but it would affect...

I need some help, i'm trying to make a cr500 shifter kart, i have the chassis and the motor already but the way the exhaust bends on the 89-01 motors comes really close, to almost touching the seat, i dont know what i should do with the exhaust bend, the options are pay a shop to make a custom...

its not turning because with live axle both wheels spin at the same speed, but with diff it lets the wheels spin at different speeds obviously. so you need to gain traction with your front wheels and lose traction with the rear wheels. shifter kart chassis are designed to lift one rear wheel up...

I'd rather make my own than spend $170 bucks for some, it gave the the design im gunna make though, thanks. and I did consider cutting the pipe, its not in the best shape anyway and if i put it on a bike i'd replace it, so if i put the 500 motor on it I'll do that, might make a custom silencer...

its a 2001 energy reactor chassis, not made anymore. and a stock cr500 has 55 hp. slightly modded i mean partialy ported and polished and its a 505cc instead of a 491cc stock, it might be able to smoke the tires at 100 mph, that dosent make it anoying, it makes it awsome
