Hey what is the need for this,is it so the shifter doesn't hit the chain?

Just got this thing ready to go and my clutch doesn't work.of course its my 99 yz125 engine on it. When I pull the clutch handle in, the axel still turns the motor instead of spinning freely.nowni know the cables good and have adjusted it.today I got a new gasket and pulled the clutch cover off...

alright so how do you hook up the fuel pump.gas line wise.where does each line go?spanks

ok went to go tap out my intake boot for the pulse fuel pump barb fitting but my boot is made of rubber.what do i do.am i in the wrong place for adding the barb? so confused right now.its whats holding me up from gettin my kart goin was show this and thats what ive been going by...

been a long time snce i worked on the kart but i finally got the sprocket,and motor mount .i just need a 428 chain, fuel lines, new air filter and a fuel pump. allright so here's my next round of ?'s how many links of chan do i need to generally order? what air filter do i get for the yz125...
