if it came with only a 2.5hp motor you may want to make sure that the mounting plate isnt a cheap little 1/16 in. plate. thats what one of my karts had and it just bent and broke under all the extra power when i upgraded motors. i just welded up a 1/4 in. plate only took about an hour and worth...

bring the motor to home depot. you can test fit all the bolts ya want, they didnt mind when i took my gx200 in.

I am a new member and this is the first forum I have ever joined. I like to make karts from scratch but I was just given a Honda fl250 and am needing info. Havin a hard time figurin out how to post things and where, so bear with me. I just need a pic of where all the hoses go on a stock...

can anybody post a picture of how to hook up all fuel pump hoses and carb hoses please. i was just given a free fl250 that seems to be complete except the clutch is broken and none of the hoses are hooked up. ya cant beat free but i cant seem to find pics of all the hoses in this forum i cant...
