Where is the best place to find the Briggs modified parts? like cams and valve train stuff?

I dont know for sure, but I think, somewhere it may have gotten signals crossed with motors with clutch's (like ATV or Motor Cycles) if the motor oil from the engine is also used in the clutch, detergent wears the clutch plates faster :) dont yell at me, I just think that might be where the two...

I run 30w in the summer and 10w30 when it is cold, if it is a new engine, never never run synthetic until after the break in, synthetic wont let engine go through breakin the right way and will give you problems later on

yeah, definatly need to know which carb it is, some you clean the right part and some you but the new one for $25.00 LOL

I work on chainsaw daily, I know if you set the chain on a log with some pressure, the chain wont spin, I would be interested in knowing how you would get the kart moving from a stop, I am sure once it got going it would be a mover..:) Just my two pennies

High temp will work, regular will work as well, they dont get that hot, Honda Engines dont use gaskets anymore they only use silicone, if it is good enough for them...

I put one on my mini chopper, lets you adjust all kinds of gearing, some forethought does need to go into it when you set one up.. the picture is at www.coolrider.net/chopper pretty much the whole build is there, the shaft is between the engine and the rear wheel.

If your talking about the crankcase side cover, you can go get a gasket for it, or just use silicone sealant.. if that leaks too, you have more problems to look at..

The picture Russ put in there is it, the bottom of the kingpin has to be farther forward than the top, the farther you go forward, the more it will want to return to center.

And I was going to move to Tennesee and open one, I figured it was an easy market, only one around LOL
