I have a two piece seat made out of wood with foam padding for comfort and it is wrapped with leather material. Its simple and cheap.

It will still idle fine when i have it sitting on the ground. It is very slow running and the engine will die after a couple of seconds of riding.

Before i got the cart it was sitting outside, but now i keep it in a metal shed.

Is it really bad if my oil is grey. I changed the oil when i got the cart and it was grey. I have not even ride it around at all, it is grey again just from trying to get it running right.

the rubber gaskets i was talking about is not a pick up tube, it is the little metal tube running from the side of the carb down into the engine. i didnt know if the seal on it needed to be tight cause it defintly is not. by the way, it was only running a trip down the driveway, the engine cut...

i cleaned the screen on the tube twice now to make sure nothing was clogging it. would the rubber gaskets holding on the little tube going from the carb to the engine have anything to do with the problem cause the are a little messed up from it sitting a while from the person i bought it from.

I have a 5hp briggs engine that is having problems starting now after i had it running for a very short period of time. it will start right up with starting fluid, but will not stay running. tried to ajust the idle. cleaned out the gas tank. the carb looks to be clean. anyone have any suggestions.
