Thats about what i paid for it. Figured i could get the air filter cover and maybe a battery to see if the lights work and ride it around a bit and then see what i can get for it on CL.

How much do you get for them? It doesn't really need any work, just a cover for the air filter and a good cleaning. The lights and speedo don't work either. I was going to try to get around 150 for it.

Found this thing on Craigslist about 30 minutes from me, so I went and picked it up. Anyone seen one like this?

Well first guy said he asked the owner before him and he told him it was a restored fox kart. Second one is supposed to be a coyote.

People posting on Craigslist know they're going to get low balled by 90% of people no matter what, so they price things a bit higher. I know that's how I do it.

I haven't taken the silver part apart yet. That thing is connected to a max torque clutch with a belt on it.

Talked to the second guy a bit more. Said its a fox/volpe kart. He sounds pretty firm at $500. Said he was offered $300 for just the brake setup but he's not parting it out.
