Maybe it’s just gunk or the lighting, but there’s a spot I might hit with a rat tail file or sumthin. It looks too jagged to me. it seems I can’t add images but the center part of the driver unit has 4 rounded grooves. One looks jagged in the photo.

With 22” tires, 6:1 gear ratio will work much better. I’m not sure what size your jackshaft is or what is the current pitch of chain you are using. If you can find sprockets that work (preferably with #420 chain or #40) to give you 6:1 ratio (like 10T and 60T) then you’ll be good. Correct that...

Try a 60T rear sprocket. And maybe a 12T front sprocket. Let us know what diameter the tires are.
