A clutch won’t last long I’d say if it’s heavy. I’d use a tav to be honest. Or look into a comet 780 setup

Looks like I’m short on the timing key and the ported & milled head in my build. I have a 32mm pwk carb. It seems ok and tuned ok, but a stock $45 Vegas carts 24mm carb made me quicker in the 1/8th mile vs that 32mm carb by 1/2 a second. My mph was lower by 5mph but my 60’ and 330 were quicker...

Are the 420cc engines that much different that they can have a big difference in the piston height? Or are they mainly about the same? I’m trying to bump up the compression a bit in my mild 420 predator non hemi. I don’t really want to mill the head at this time as that may take a while to do...

Back from the dead.... A stock sport bike muffler would be perfect. I was looking at using a gen 1 Hayabusa 99-07 muffler on my golf cart swap.

I have a similar bike like yours zoot. I have a 125 loncin 4 speed in it. With 8” tires and 17/29 gearing I can top out at 65mph in perfect conditions and tucking. I think the 17/29 is too much gearing as 4th gear doesn’t pull much, more like over drive. Lifan is a pretty reliable engine...

Have you looked at a larger bike and see how they have their linkages setup? It may give you some ideas. Using some Hemi joints
