So i started a new build, i took an electric scooter that got fried and decided to put a 125cc manual lifan on it. I extended the frame 16 inches to account for the engine. So far I'v done, frame, motor mount, exhaust, chain/rear sprocket, and gas tank. Im pretty close to being done i just need to figure out the shift linkage :ack2: if anybody has an idea for the shift linkage feel free to share. Ill make another post of this beast when its all completed.

Looks nice. Least you'll have enough power to go up hill with a head wind. Far as an idea for the shifter, maybe run a push/pull cable from the engine to a slap shifter mounted to the handle bar. Kind of limited on how to shift on this type of scooter.

Have you looked at a larger bike and see how they have their linkages setup?
It may give you some ideas.
