I have tried everything in this thread. Including running the valves and draining the gas. You either have to crank on it for a long time and hold the governor wide open for it to hit several times and start eventually. Or spray one small spray of starting fluid on the air filter and hits and...
So do these engines come new with lock tite on the plug? I tried to remove mine for the first time and turned it about one full crank and it was still really tight.
Took the carb off and soaked it overnight. It seems to start the same as before. Is there any chance that the valves could have tightened up during break in and the need adjusted?
