Hey guys, I got a problem which bothers me for a while. My engine wouldn't stay running and stalls almost every time. Yesterday i decided to open the carb and clean it. I cleaned every part of it's components. Unclogged the jets etc. Mounted it up on it's place and gave it a try but the problem...

that is my transmission: 2.7in on clutch pulley 7.8in on jackshaft pulley 12t on js sproket and 428 36t axle sproket. i'm pretty proud of it. i have to say i use a 3hp engine and it has a pretty good launch so it shouldn't be a problem on your engine

To make a jackshaft is not that expensive, but you can try to run it directly and see if is powerful enough.

I fixed it with some washers tho. thank you everyone

I've thought about that and i already have one made for a belt but i didn't know if it would work on a chain

Hey guys! I got a new problem here. I managet to get my engine to work but now i got another problem. My chain is too loose but not loose enough to get a link out and i have no idea how to get it tight. Here are some pics:

Guys nevermind, i've just got it running. Unscrewed the mixture screw and screwed the idle one then i spinned it with the drill full throttled and suddenly released tge throttle. Made a big explosion and got running

Also when i throttle it up it spits fuel out of the air intake among with smoke

By my part you mean to spray the carb, right? That's what i'm gonna do next. It can't be the engine so i'm gonna focus on the carb

I'dd honestly be surprised if someone has the correct answer. I hav absolutely no idea what could be the problem
