    Question about exhaust pipes

Scout: You could research & post questions at this other forum with guys that actually race karts with engines like yours at tracks every week. https://4cycle.com/karting/forums/predator.73/

JBkart.com go kart frame price. How much is this frame worth?

It resembles a race kart chassis, but it's actually a concession/rental kart. I'd start out pricing it at $200/OBO and see if it sells.

Any help identifying go kart frame?

That site you mentioned with all the vintage race kart pics was probably this one: https://www.vdm46.com/invader-kart.html You can click on their Chassis I.D. link for other brands of racekarts. I think yours might be one of the 1990-era Invader brand sprint karts. Invader was one of very few...

Any help identifying go kart frame?

I'll try to help I.D. & locate a replacement spindle, but I need more clues: I need to see a side view pic of the entire kart. A close-up pic of either side of the brake caliper might be another good clue. Are your steering column support bars chrome plated by any chance, or are they just...

    Personal Belongings

Some of these little 6-pack cooler bags have zippered compartments for your stuff. Some even have snaps on the carry strap; so you could use it's own straps to help secure the cooler to your buggy. ~ They're handy for drinks and food too ;)

    Shifter Exhaust help

Looks like you have that motor mount welded to the frame, Is that just temporarily tacked? If your gonna build your own motor mount you should clamp it around the 2 frame rails so you can simply loosen the bolts to slide the mount to adjust the chain, like this Yamaha shifter kart mount:

    Chain Alignment Pls help

Yep, hopefully your engines output shaft will be long enough so you can shim the clutch out far enough so it's weights clear the side of the engine. 3/4" thrust washers are very thin and perfect for precision shimming, they're available at ace hardware stores. Just shim it so the clutch still...

    Chain Alignment Pls help

Looks like your clutch is a 1st generation Noram Cheethah. They were made to be installed with the drive gear facing Inboard or outboard, although you might have to shim it out a bit for clearance. Another solution for you might be: It's very common for guys with racekart's like yours to...

    Shifter Exhaust help

Lots of guys that built shifter karts on a limited budget cut their dirtbike's stock chamber into sections, then reassemble/weld it all back together in a shape better fits their kart. You might loose a few horse power, but your kart will still be scarry fast.

    Shifter kart tire help

Here's a chart that show's recommended rim widths for various sizes of racekart tires. ~ Although it's not uncommon for some kart racers to use rims that are up to 2" wider or 1" narrower (than these recommended widths) to alter overall tire diameter and sidewall-flex characteristics.

    Shifter kart tire help

Yep those sizes are fine, but I wouldn't trust SunF brand tires on a shifter racekart like yours that's capable of 70-100mph top speeds. I'd suggest you invest in one of the trusted time-tested brands of real racekart tires like Burris, Bridgestone, Hoosier, Dunlap or MG...

    Gearing help

Guys that race Shifterkarts (with 2-cyle dirtbike engines like yours) on a track typically have a 16 -19 tooth counter sprocket, and a 21- 30 tooth axle sprocket, depending on the length of the tracks straightaway & desired top speed. You could expect amazing acceleration using any of these...

    axle choice

Since you bought all those genuine Topkick brand axle componets: I'd suggest you contact Topkick with all of the part #'s of your axle componets; and then have them verify which one of their 50mm axles (and which set of keys) you should buy; so you'll be 100% sure everything will be compatible...

50mm axle tube, I need brakes!

Cool, If you know what your motors max rpm will be, here's a link to our speed calculator you could use to experiment with various gear ratios to achieve the best compromise between good acceleration and estimated top speeds: https://www.diygokarts.com/speed-calculator.html PS: If you don't...
