Hey y’all,

I’ve got a trick racing go-kart and I want to run 10.5x4.5-6 tires up front (the front right rim already has that size on it). I’m struggling to figure out the correct rim width × backspacing I need to order. Obviously it’s a 6-inch diameter rim, but I’m not sure what width or backspacing to get.

I’ve included a picture of my current rim and the kart, and I also found a listing on eBay that I’m pretty sure is the exact same rim/tire setup I have — but I do NOT want to pay $176 when I only need one rim.

Please help! You can give me:

  • Item numbers/links
  • Exact size recommendations
  • Or tell me how to measure it myself

Thanks!

Ok, 1st thing you need to do is accurately measure which of these 3 different bolt-patern & center hole diameter sizes of rim you need, to assure your new rim will fit your wheel-hub.

Accurately measure like this diagram illustrates, then we'll move on to width & backspacing.
