Picture 2 is of the steering turned. 2 and 4 is supposed to show that I can way oversteer in one direction but not in the other.

I am looking to upgrade my air filter on the predator 212. However, without the airbox, I'm concerned about water, mud and snow. Thoughts on how to increase airflow while still being able to go through these elements?

Any reason to keep the separate jack shaft? The replacement TCs have it built into the plate. Seems like that would work and then I could eliminate the mounting plate and separate jack shaft all together.

Does it make a difference what the axle vs TC tooth count is, or just the overall ratio? For example, if I were to go with a 9:1, I could use a 10t TC and 90t axle or a 9t TC and an 81 axle. Based on my very limited knowledge, the performance would be identical?

My craigslist find came with a predator 212 with a 45t axle sprocket and 9t TC sprocket. I need to purchase a new TC, most of which come with a 10t sprocket. With 18.5" rear wheels, will a 4.5:1 gear ratio be ok? I can't imagine climbing massive hills but will have more fun bombing through...

Just purchased this go kart off CL for $50. After stripping through 5 layers of paint, I found that it said yerf dog. Does anyone know the model? Is it a 3020? I read about steering issues. Does anyone have a suggestion of a good thread that covers fixes, with pictures?
