Swapped out the 97CC for a 331cc tecumseh.Fabbed up throttle linkage, chain pensioner. Extended the bike frame 10" longer and foot pegs out 4" additional. Custom chain guard. And working on wiring up lights front and rear
A shot before all the glitz and glam of the paint. plus it shows the drive line set up. that was covered by the guarding i put in place. it looked like quite the meat grinder.
As she sits now, I had some scrap steel that i utilized to cover all the drive line chains, jack shaft and track for safety purposes. I first hand how quickly a chain and sprocket can take of 1.5 fingers and my little girl doesn't need that to happen.
So i my have to re design the seat and move...

she sled runs great. turns a good tight radius, track has plenty of torque and she takes off like a raped ape...
but...
my design has the center of gravity too forward w/ the rider... the instant I throttle up the sled nose dives and no traction to the tracks...
Parts came in the mail and the first thing I want to do is apologize to everyone... I didn't take pics as I was installing and fabricating, as I was toooo excited. got the drive line situmagated and fired up the motor. everything worked so far as it should. after a few minutes of warm up I...
still waiting on parts for the drive line, so....
I grinded down the welds on the front cowl and gave it a thin coat of body filler to make the edges and corners look nice. should clean up real nice with a bit of sanding.

up date. McMaster-Car drive sprocket, axle sprocket and JS sprocket. need to order the JS and the clutch now. in the time being i am covering the front of the sled in sheet metal to give it more of a sled shape. pics up soon.
