Swapped out the 97CC for a 331cc tecumseh.Fabbed up throttle linkage, chain pensioner. Extended the bike frame 10" longer and foot pegs out 4" additional. Custom chain guard. And working on wiring up lights front and rear
Wow cool. looked stretched. Mini bikes are supposed to be small. I guess this gives you some extra leg room. I can cram in the 212cc engine all day into the doodlebugs. Guess the 331 is a a little bigger. But i think you could of made it work stock size frame.
I see snow on the bike! that must be fun.
Are you going to pull the handle bars back more? Looks like you would have to hunch over to drive it.
p.s. you should push engine to front and add torque converter!
Head lamp mounted to fork axle on a fanned up tab. 16 gauge sheet metal twisted and welded for custom throttle linkage. Rear light mounted to welded side tab. Chain guard is an old recoil cover opened up, short pieces of coat hanger stiffen the tail of the guard. And lights are set on a toggle switch. (Pretty dim at idle but bright at 1/2 throttle)
The 12 to 70 gets 25ish mph , but with the 8.5HP it gets there quick!
