Its the "One knee on seat while pushing with other leg and holding throttle wide open in 1st" technique....My rear tire is bald, so i'm surprised it goes through the snow as well as it does...

Well i got the bike. Clean, missing some parts, but it does have the parts i don't have. The bike is actually a 1975 MC1 90cc. Almost the same, but this is a street model and has a different shift pattern (N12345) Also came with a G4 bottom end (dual range, 10 speeds) I plan to register it and use it as a daily rider. Full resto on this one. Have to start with rebuilding the engine....

Not going for a full resto anymore since i got that CBR. But i did throw the engine together with a new piston from the more commonly UK model KH100. Just a little clean up and probly sell it....

The engine will be the only pretty part.....1978, still on stock bore. Only a hone :D D@mn i'm cheap

Speaking of hone....when i was honing this cyl with a 3 arm stone, i was using my industrial concrete drill (only power drill i have right now) Bad idea.......i brought up the hone too high and it flew out, smacking me across the face and smashed my nose....And 2 of the stones :mad2:

Looks good. what did you use to polish the aluminum.

You think your cheap, when i rebuilt my ds80 engine i didnt even replace the rings, let alone hone it haha. Runs great.

Well my original piston got chewed up so i didn't have much of a choice. I used dental grade high polish, its block of a kind of wax stuff. Used a buffer wheel on my bench grinder. It took maybe a minute to get it like that. I dont really feel like spending time polishing it mirror. For a votech project we had to tap holes into a cast iron bar, maybe make it look pretty. I polished the bar to a mirror with the stuff and welded on motorcycle gears to look like wheels. Got a 15 out of 5.....

Bike is now put together. It runs very nice. Anyone want to buy it before it goes on CL? Have 2 more bottom ends and an almost complete bike(street model) to go with it. PM for price.

PICS
