It probably wouldn't make much difference anyway because these small engines aren't high compression engines.

Being that the engine didn't smoke I think it is just wearing the cylender down from a very tight factory fit. If the engine started to smoke I would be concerned. I will probaby put some restore inside though.

You should be concerned about your rings eating your block...

It won't. Restore with CSL is made for car uses. Not for small engines... Small engines can have anywhere from 1/3 to 1/5 of a cars comprssion... (Around 200PSI)

just chekc oil often and chage again in 10 or so hours.

That would make no difference if it was a internal problem...

You should never have sparkly oil... or oil with visible metal bits. If it does, then somethings been grindin down in there...

When you break a engine, it shouldn't grind itself to pieces during the process.
