I noticed when it was jacked up that the driver pulley was wobbling and it wasn't like that before

So it basically came undone? Was the bolt on the driver shaft sort of loose like it unscrewed itself? I’m trying to visualize the issue. If true, I am surprised that the bolt didn’t exit stage left and let the driver cartwheel itself off the kart into regions unknown. . . . .

When you put in the bolt that holds the driver clutch on the engine, put some blue thread locker on it. If you have a torque wrench and a strap wrench ( to keep it from spinning ), torque it to 25 lb. ft. Also, running that type of air filter ( and probably a bigger jet ) you will gain performance from using a header style exhaust.

I mentioned a header (which is usually included in the Stage 1 kits) but I was very surprised to see the big cone filter and the stock box muffler. Noise might be the issue so I suggest an RLV exhaust tip or a Briggs 294599 which requires a pipe with threads on the tip. If anything, ditch the very restrictive factory muffler and keep the superior stock air cleaner *and a bigger jet if needed.

The 212 Rotaderp has an abundant D shaped exhaust port but it is quite strangled by the smaller diameter pipe "elbow" on the factory box muffler. It feels a lot more responsive with a header/straight pipe.
