I Looked at the "grand daddy" chassis, as well as many others, and I am ready to build a 2-seater, starting this weekend, but i'd like to find some Free plans to work off of. Does anyone have any free plans they would share with me, or know where i could find some Free plans? During my build, I will keep in mind to document my chassis, and all it's components, and sizes of parts ordered, with part numbers and detailed descriptions, and take lots of pictures, and i will post free detailed chassis plans. When I get into projects, I order what I need, what I would order if it was free, that way, I order what is perfect for the project, and i try not to think too much of the price of items i order up. If i would put pricing first, then the projects would all suffer in quality and durability etc.
'buy what you want/need,,, not what you can afford' if you can't afford it, save up and get it later.
thank you so very much everyone

No, there arent really any good free plans. For the money you will spend making a 2 seater kart, buying plans that work will be one of the cheaper buys.
You could try google for some plans and you will find some, but they are sometimes quite simple and hard to follow.
Have a look through all the threads here on the forum about people building karts. Often the thread itself will help you build your own kart

EZTrail's build is a current one and just the type he is looking for. Good start for him to go through. It's not a "scratch" build, but could learn a lot.

Right, I agree. The base kart is a Yerf-Dog so even if he started with a bare-bones sort of flat chassis (classic kart with no cage), anything is possible after that if you wanted to build it up to resemble a Grand Daddy.
