lol i did that with my pc when the fan sounded loud. i kicked it, the noise stopped. for some reason i had an urge to kick it again to see what would happen. i kicked it again, and the noise came back, so i kicked it one last time, and the hdd broke!

that is some sweet program!

Just gotta remember with inventor you MUST be careful setting up project files, or you will screw everything up!

I lost the assembly with the shaft drive with center differential because I edited a few of the parts into totally different things in the chain-drive concept.

I got an email from the people at affordablegokarts regarding the functionality of the go kart. They said the biggest struggle is that it doesn't want to turn. It takes a lot of muscle to turn the wheel under any power. I forgot that it would be tough without power steering. This really worries me. Adding more weight is out of the question at this point. These differentials are heavy enough.

My friend donated a 2 cylinder 4 stroke jet ski engine. No transmission, just one gear, but it doesn't build power like normal 2 stroke engines, it has a really smooth power band. I bet it will act different with a proper exhaust on it. I'm just guessing. I haven't seen the engine yet. Going to go over there tomorrow.

My vote would be for front and rear diffs, that would allow for the best turning ability. The AGK kart looks to have live axles front and rear, which will make it torque steer badly (and since both wheels are pulling, the torque is steering straight ahead. ;)

So you think that the differential may help the problem that all fwd vehicles have, front steering under power?

Did some thinking... I might reconsider the middle differential. It might cut the power from the front wheels when I need to turn rather than go straight. It's worth the shot.

No, I think without a front diff, it won't turn well at all. Even with a front diff it will torque steer a bit, but will be much more controllable.

IMHO, it's gonna try to steer straight ahead when you nail it in a curve (still torque steer but not the same as first generation FWDs), but with a diff it will be more controllable.

With a live front axle, (equal power to both wheels ALL the time), it's gonna STRONGLY resist turning. With a diff. the wheels can rotate a different speeds and not contribute to the torque steer. ;)

So, I don't know about that 650. It's a two-stroke two-cylinder engine from a 650sx jet ski. I might have to mod it to run on dry land. Or, I could just trade it for a 125 or 250, which I would almost prefer. The 650 is one gear. I rather want to have a shifter.
