TY for your help. There's a 4" for $13.75 a piece in the below listing but those light duty dolly bearings must be pressed out and replaced with precision sealed bearings.

IF you wanted to stay aluminum, you could go with Azusa Tri-Stars but they can be pricey.
Your Manco 405 is a dead axle kart eh? Might need a sprocket hub....
EDIT: keep us apprised of the situation and post some pics of your kart. Always pays to have some eyes-on.

I had not thought about those. I have used them in the past on things and the bearings seemed fantastic. They upon first glance look exactly like the bearings on my carts. I may have to give that a try.You do not, of course, want to use any thing tire related (except maybe the inner tubes) sold by Harbor Freight. These "go kart wheels" are anything but, but you see them everywhere used as kart wheels. They are intended for manually operated or pushed carts and dollies. They aren't durable enough either in the rubber compound, rim material or bearing type to withstand a powered vehicle. They will self destruct in short order....

Go back and read Hellions post again.I had not thought about those. I have used them in the past on things and the bearings seemed fantastic. They upon first glance look exactly like the bearings on my carts. I may have to give that a try.
Seriously? Have you ever seen a quality bearing? There is no comparison.d the bearings seemed fantastic
I read it carefully the first time, I just choose to try it, TY. I don't plan on hossing'it all the time, it is for a couple of city kids.Go back and read Hellions post again.
Do not use those harbor freight tires rims or bearings.
They don't hold up to hand trucks.

I took down a 1950 Ford F1 that had some good ones???Seriously? Have you ever seen a quality bearing? There is no comparison.
Fair enough, but you still think HF wheel bearings are "fantastic"?I took down a 1950 Ford F1 that had some good ones
I think the ones I have personally seen and used are good. I would not use them on a go cart that I was going to put through the ringer with a 200 pound adult acting a fool. Having said that I would say that they might have a reasonable life on a cart driven by a 10 year-old great-grand-daughter and her younger brother around the mowed property of mine. Also, in defense of Harbor Freight, I think their products have improved since they began business and their bad rap is more myth that fact now. I maybe 100% wrong and you 100% correct, I am just a hard head and a glutton for punishment?????Fair enough, but you still think HF wheel bearings are "fantastic"?
