Hi everyone, so I've recently bought this 24mm "pwk" carb (I don't even know what pwk means but whatever lol) and I installed it on this 212cc clone, at first when I tried starting it, it did like 2 rounds and then died, decided to change the jet from 110 to 115, it became worse, no sign of life, then I put back the 110, and fiddled around with the air fuel mixture screw, I tried leaner by 1 turn, nothing, then richer, nothing. I don't know what I'm doing, can someone help? Thanks!

Check this out guys!

I guess that's a video of your engine running, but not sure if I trust the download... 😁
Okay I downloaded it. IT RUNNNZ!

You need to bolt that engine down a little better or does it just shake a lot?

Pity about your header wrap. Those take a metal "zip tie" to keep from unraveling but a hose clamp would work too, blah blah blah. Anyways, good job it is nice and loudddd. 😎

Well I put regular bolts instead of those ones w the plastic on them, and they just loosened because of the vibration, there's even one that took off lol 😂, yeah I'm gonna fix the heat wrap, I'm sure my neighbors hate me now 🤣, but DAMN I didn't expect it to be THAT loud, I was genuinely scared of it, that thing was angry, I'm just so happy my hard work paid off SO well, 1 year of work, the relief is insane. Now there's only a few steps left, putting some sort of support for the brake caliper and re-installing the bumpers and everything, and the kart should be done! Anyways thank you guys so much for your help!!!

Don’t rev it up like that with no load. Unless you want to scatter the engine. But good job getting it going!

He means without the chain connected to the axle sprocket and the wheels. Basically it's possible to rev the engine faster than it will ever rev on the ground and driving its wheels. Hell yeah it's a great noisemaker!

Was it idling at all in that video? It seemed to be racing before you ever touched it
