Whelp folks, Im back. I have been wanting one of these things for a while. I bought this one from a 15 year old who built the entire thing himself. Nice kid! Made jigs, bent the tube, mig welded, pretty darn good build overall. A few things are a little off kilter, but not bad for what it is. I drove about 110 miles to pick it up at $950. Items of note:

-Predator ghost 212cc
-Has a battery
-Headlight
-Good disk break
-1" dia rear axle
-Cvt, but im not sure which one, but ill check.
-Adjustable Wheelie bar (definitely needs it)
-Good hardware used throughout
-Has a chain tensioner

Only things I see to get it to my liking is shifting the axle about 1/2" to the left to get extra space for the exhaust. And the front tripple tree could use a little loving. I'll likely take the forks off and beef them up a bit. Foot pegs will need sonething for my big feet, and handlebars will need to be moved forward. But overall its a cool little rig. Kid said he could do about 55mph on it, and dad confirmed. 1000001538.jpg 1000001541.jpg1000001545.jpg

That is a very neat trike. For it to have been built by a 15 year old is absolutely amazing. 55 is pretty fast. Hang on tight. Like it a lot.

Nice trike. I would not move the axle for muffler clearance. I would move the muffler, somehow.
I'll bet it is squirrely at speeds with a solid rear axle. Ride safe, Friend!

Whelp, found out that the forks need to be fixed first. Initial inspection found the Aluminum triple tree looked a little weak/fragile being made of Alumium and tightened with Allen head bolts. Initial test run has confirmed this issue. Will be replacing with steel and welds, as well as wearing Carhatt pants next time (got some road rash). Stay tuned. I think I'll put a small rack up front too, along with a second set of pegs further forward. This thing will wheelie forever, haha.

Wild photo, man! Are you okay?
Just some road rash, not too bad though, almost healed up. Shoulder is a little sore still, but getting better. Felt pretty close to getting out of a football game at the end, haha. Man, I broke one of my old cardinal rules when riding motorcycles, and that was to always wear pants. Luckily I put on some rawhide leather gloves, which have saved my hands way too many times.

I am planning on entering a 100 mile "enduro" mini bike race this summer, so I'll outfit it a bit for that. It needs more front-forward weight though, lots of torque, and weights pretty much nothing. I can confirm my kids are not ready to ride it!

Always something to learn for the kids, even in bad situations. Great parenting right there folks! Turning a scary situation into a learning experience teaches them not to panic and find a solution.

Thanks! And yup, right after it happened I asked my 5 year old son what broke on it,
Now I get the football reference! I'm guessing a offensive tackle or a giant TE?
Offensive Tackle, good guess!

I was a 5-10 185lb RB in high school , wish we had a OT your size! :ROFLMAO:
Yea, on sweeps to my side my running back in HS would literally just grab onto the back of my jersey and hold on. In college I was lucky enough to get humbled on occasion. Being tall can keep guys off of me, but if they can get under me, I have literally been picked up off the ground a few times by D-lineman.
