Purchased this go kart (not sure of make) but curious what I need to get it going as far as clutch/torque converter. It has this driven pulley on it already and not sure what brand. Can someone please tell me exactly what I need? I have a predator 212 to put on it
Looks like a very universal engine deck plate, 212 should be perfectly fine for it.
As for that driven clutch, your pic does little to accommodate identification but from what I can see it looks symmetrical to me which would make it most likely a 40 series (possibly a 20 series).
IF you can get it off the shaft and clean it up then you'd only need to get a 40 series 3/4" bore clutch driver to match your engines PTO shaft and a genuine comet belt which will require getting a center to center measurement of the jackshaft to the engine PTO after the engine is mounted.
Any Generic unit will do provided it is for 3/4" shaft, and is identified as being 40series or symmetrical.
30 series is the absolute only one to use ASYMMETRICAL sheaves and belts.
