Which axle kit do i get to convert a manco critterto a live axle setup?

I've been trying to figure out what I need to buy to make the 1 wheel peel to a live axle. But idk what size or length to get?

First, you have to measure about how long it is from the outer edge of the rear tire to the outer edge of the other rear tire
...& also, what size chain your kart has

I just got one from go power sports. I measured my old axel and matched the length and diameter.

I probably didn't need the entire kit but I also have a 1 wheel peel kart I may convert to live axel. Now I will have the parts to do it.

I imagine you will need to weld on some brackets to hold the axel. So may need a welding machine added to your parts list.

I have a welding machine and all the tools. From end to end it's 39" the 1wp axle is bent. Can I put a longer one on? Or does it gotta be the same length. It's 5/8" diameter. So the one from bmi parts, is it a good quality axle kit?

you can use any length you choose. but keep in mind how you want to haul it.....what looks good....the addition of wider tires......balance and reasonableness.

So would a 44" be to big? And there isn't too much ti choose from when it comes to sprocket placement... so am I going to have to move the mounting plate for the motor?

If going to the trouble to make a 1wp into live able. Why not step up to a 1in shaft from the 5/8?
You have to change sprockets and brake hub etc, but in the end less prone to bend in future
