Egor says the turbo formula is X + Dino Juice = Mo Power, so and he says that's why turbo. @ezcome-ezgo interpreted for me, him and Igor are actually quite good friends.

After threatening to fire Egor, he explained that there is actually a plan. To his credit He has consulted with experts, suppliers and engine builders. the plan includes, billet flywheel, and con rod, flat top piston, head milling and porting, performance camshaft, and carb change and new exhaust. Low friction ceramic main bearings are the ace in the hole. The govenor has already been removed. A secret weapon that has always been on board is the dual ignition. This has not been common knowledge cuz well, its secret. The original ignition has been retained and the mopar performance ignition will remain as well. The stock ignition coil is going to get an upgrade also. The turbo is off the table due to logistics. I also tasked Egor with looking into the possibilty of adding throttle body fuel injection at some point in the future.
stay tuned to see how this fiasco unfolds….

For Injection look to Echotrons or something like that
Too easy. I like to junkyard s**t like that. Think mopar ignition.
A long time ago (in a galaxie far away) i junkyarded a GM thottle body and installed it on my 73 Scout crawler. It was a challenging project, but in the end it worked perfectly.
That thing would run upside down. There are some small single barrel throttle bodies out there..

Well here is the mystery part Du Jour.
This thing fell out when the head was removed. Fell on the floor before we could see where it came form. Can anyone identify it?
Honda GX 390
It is only about .020 thick.

Next question. How does one remove this governor gear?
The shaft it is on is threaded into the case, but the gear and the innards spin freely on the threaded shaft. I see only two options to remove it.
1. Cut the f***er off with a angle grinder.
2. Bend the centrifugal weights out of the way and see if it comes apart.

You sure it's threaded in???

On small blocks, it's pressed in. A hammer and punch takes care of that.

Not sure what that other piece is.

yeah i suppose that would work, but with my luck the case would crack and a 2 inch hunk would fall out. I prefer to drill it out (#7 drill) thread it, install a stainless bolt, with red locktite, then some JB weld, then marine tex on the inside. Can’t do anything the easy way. (Naw l wont do that)

The pin that the govenor gear rides on comes out it an ugly spot. After screwing around a little, l decided to leave it alone, cuz thats the side the TC bolts up to.

A pry bar broke the small wire ring that held the gear on. So l’ll just leave it.

I have no idea what that little plate is for. Never saw one before. Yea, break the little clip off and trim off the shaft. Let’s face it your not going to put the governor back in.
