Of course I cut the bars off to get it in the bed of the truck. If you have seen my other single seater streaker thread then you already know exactly where this is going. and yes of course it’s gonna be red.3E262031-AF19-4203-A774-804D22113E13.pngB38D9910-ABE8-45FD-A529-82F1D122D9D6.jpeg

This is where I’m at with it currentley. got to get a fine sand paper to finish it off and it’s ready for paint. Of course the steering parts will get cleaned up and stuck back on. And before I hear one word of it yes it’s bent a bit in the front. last thing I care about. buddys got a small shop it can be bent back. A00F5F4C-419F-421C-A237-8D5280E7F60B.jpeg

Warren F. Scott FitZevon was called "Excitable Boy". Wish I could get that excited enough myself to knock out that much work that fast, excellent prep job so far. Shall I assume there were power tools involved? What kind of contact material did you use in advance of that fine sandpaper you were talking about, and will that be on power tools as well?
BTW: You got a good deal at $80.

Yupp a wire wheel in a drill. took the paint right off with little effort. and I’m gonna run over it with fine sand paper by hand nothing fancy. it’s gonna get a lot of hard tar/chip road miles so it’s not like it will stay nice anyway. i’m gonna eBay a raptor sidecover and get a 30 series. ready to race next season.

Gotta keep up the motivation. I have 90% of the parts to make it run and drive. It’s cold outside isn’t and excuse. I want this hop on and ready to ride as fast as I possibly can.. Just so I don’t have to deal with it. Slam it out right the first time and I can enjoy it without to much hassle or time spent. never been easier now that I have a completed kart to build the base. front bumper is on. Now i need to make an exact copy of the brake pivot system from my other single seater streaker thread.FC22F4ED-A2DA-402A-BD7F-9437F7516957.jpeg

I want another coyote puppy!
Hasn’t stopped me from staying out and working. I got the brake Pedal linkage flipped also the hardware and spring to mount it and make it work. with the heavy duty springs it springs the pedals back so nice. Now tell me my welds are bad and we will move on. :ROFLMAO:

I cut the brake linkages up and snagged The tabs to make a new linkage. I need to weld one tab on and make the little linkage arm to go back to the band. This setup will lock up both tires no problem.DF4E6A9F-DBC2-45C6-9C3E-72415E8283B0.jpeg
