I'm looking parts for a kartco kart 675 with a 3/4 keyed live axle I'm looking for the drive wheel set up. Or a hub that I can bolt it all up to the rim and tire. Its a project that I'm working on with my 9 year old son he's very excited to build his first go kart

New to go karts. But what I meant to say is I'm looking for a sprocket that bolts to the brake drum and the the spindle hub. Because I just got a plain frame with no tires or wheels.

Go Power Sports, BMI, Manufacturer’s Supply, Gokart Supply are just a few suppliers for parts. You can start there.

I see what you're thinking about now. The motor mount is so far to the left that the axle sprocket must be squeezed in between the band brake and the wheel, and it looks like there's not enough space to do separates there. Must be wanting a "sprocket drum" that is both axle sprocket and OD-machined brake drum. See if link below works for you. You will see those combo units, and also separate brake drums and sprockets made to bolt together, so you can change sprockets only (60-tooth, 72-tooth, etc.), and get a different gear ratio that way.

🥀🪦 Dead thread.

Ok here are the pictures of the go kart.

I believe that is a Carter Brothers go kart but there sure are some crazy similarities between Kartco and Carter Brothers, enough to assume they were made in the same factory or something....

I submit that it is most likely a Carter Brothers 2515 Super Wheels.

The telltale signs of a Carter Brothers is:
1. Live axle enclosed in a tube (w/ bearings at each end)
2. "Double plates" on steering column with tie rod ends sandwiched between them
3. Drilled and stamped steel pedals
4. One or two-tube curved steering wheel braces
5. Motor mount sides are bent down with beveled corners like a saddle

1. Kartco may have enclosed axles too(?)
2. Kartco usually has only one tie rod at the steering column; the other tie rod is spindle to spindle
3. Kartco typically uses cast aluminum pedals
4. Kartco uses one and two-tube steering braces, if a one-tube it can be curved at the bottom or straight
5. Kartco seems to use a flat motor mount *and sometimes with bent down sides
....

🤷‍♂️
