Welcome to the new DIYGK software!

The import took around 5 hours, so we were down for quite some time 8/26.

This new software we will find is much better. Phone support, better upload support, better everything.

I'll need to spend some time 8/27 configuring it, so note that it is very rough right now.

I expect there are some issues w/ this new software. Please post errors you find!

All posts from around 6:30pm CST were moved over to this new system.

Give it a whirl and let me know your first thoughts! Like it? Hate it?

Improvements and coats of paint will happen!

Niiiice! The new software looks sweet! Pretty cool that we're running on the same software as OldMiniBikes!
BTW It would seem I'm not allowed to edit all of my profile settings, and all my posts go straight into moderation.

Testing. For some reason JT's post isn't showing on the main page as a reply

Can we still edit our own previous posts? Looking at my post from before and I'm not seeing an option to do it. I really do like the fact it is now easier to post pictures. Also that some of the advance features are now in a more accessible spot compared to before. Bummed out that the URL for the site was changed. So I have to delete the old one and use this one more often, other wise it brings up a "Database Erased" error message. All in all, I'm enjoying the new changes!

I'll put in a redirect to make the old URL point at the new one. I'm working on why people are getting their messages stuck in a moderation queue

Keep making notes on what needs to change. I'll get to it as time allows. Probably knock out a bunch this weekend.

A return of the Thanking of posts, maybe an addition of a 'like' as well.

I'm not sure if the PC version of the site is like this, but on mobile, the DIT Karts logo in the upper left corner does not appear.

Also, would like to see a return of the thread pages. Currently you click on the thread and you start at the very beginning and not at the most current post, or having an option to jump to such and such page in that thread. For example in the 'Quick Bits' thread, you start at page one and you can either go page by page, or jump to the very last page, nothing in between.

Probably was already on your list. And again, I'd like to share my gratitude and thank you for the update for the site.Screenshot_20200827-222552_Chrome.jpg

I just added the "Like" which is basically "thanks". I might change the words, but "like" works too. I would like to make sure those "thanks" were imported but I haven't thought that far ahead yet. Also, no one should be getting stuck in moderation now *I think*

Check on the thread page, after you click on the thread, there's a button that says "jump to new" and that will get you what you're looking for.

..., better everything. ...
I unfortunately strongly disagree,
constantly topscrolling webpage, that nightmare of a wysiwyg editor unable to take keyboard commands properly;
and it causes the CPU to run @100% because of some javascript (likely the scroll to top one, trying to fight my keyboard input)
