Search Collin furze bolt together go kart it will be 800x safer than wood. I'm doing it and it's even easier than building a wooden one but mine is a trike made with bed frame and bike parts

If you keep it stock and do oil changes on time, it will last you for a minimum of 4 years.

When exactly is "oil change on time" I've heard 6 months I've heard a year I've heard every month and I've heard every 10 hours of use, my last oil change was a couple months ago

That's a BAD idea, I did it once, went down a hill a 30mph and the thing flipped. If you do this, consider wearing a lot of protection
