Opinion... Stage 2 on Pred Hemi 212 or 196 Clone

Wanted to get opinions from everyone (dangerous on the internets I know) but I am getting ready to start a new project and will be doing a Stage 2 from GPS on an engine. I currently have a Predator 212 Hemi and a Hisun 196cc clone from a Coleman with a 3/4in shaft. I understand the Hemi will need some grinding but I am not worried about that. All my other project have some sort of Predator on them wanted to play with the Hisun 196cc clone just do not know much about them.

If you had both sitting around and both of them do work right now with no issues, would you build the Predator or Hisun, and why?

Finally for the cam, Mod2 or Hot cam? I am thinking Mod2 as it still has some torque down low but again never messed with a Hot 265 cam.

Well then, I would rather build the hisun

The ARC rod is $15 cheaper, The crank should not need ground, normal cylinder head with full height springs. Regular flywheel taper.

For the cam, Mod2 for stock cylinder head and/or carb.

The mod2 is stock lift, the 265 is quite a bit more

The 265 Might not be good with the hemi head, or really not beneficial with stock valves/ airflow

Just my opinion , either way it should make some noise

Forgot to add, I will be putting a genuine Mikuni on... I want a flat-slide thinking maybe a 24mm.

I have seen 13.2 SAE horsepower with a MOD2 (add 20-40% to that number for inertia dynos) and a 22mm round-slide.

The problem with MOD2 is that it is a cheater cam (higher duration, stock lift) meant for cheating go karters. If you want to unlock more potential, it would be better to get a cam that has more lift, or go with some 1.3 ratio rockers on the mod2. Just my opinion here.
