all right, I'm in...subscribed, clicked the bell...you're going for triple digits? I'm good with that. Send me your personal info if it's all good I wanna invest in a small policy at least until you survive that 100 mph run :D (I can already see the blue plastic tearing off the frame :D)

I had a Honda Shadow with a 600 VLX Deluxe and I could only squeeze 105 out of it. But, I wanna think it only had a 4 speed gearbox on it and I was living in Oklahoma at the time in the mid 90s...very hot out there...

I really wanna see where you are going with that thing though. I wouldn't say it's my thing. But I do like your no holds barred approach!

A word of advice if you use a split aluminum sprocket like a 400 series type. I recently got one from GPS... If it is just even a minute amount off it will wear every other tooth on the sprocket. I must have only been just a few thousandths off on mine...but there it was...and considering the amount of power and torque you have with that engine it wont take but a second for you to munch an expensive sprocket.

LOL, I can't wait! Just don't let your little girl drive that dam thing!!! :D

Lmao!!!! Don’t worry about my little girl this ones for me!! Thanks for the support and the heads up on a sprocket!! Hope you enjoy the build it’s definitely gonna be a learning experience for me but when I was little I always wanted a cool go kart so I guess I’m finally getting around to it!! I know 100 might be a little hard to achieve but shoot for the stars right!

I’m liking it. Subscribed as well. If you aren’t aware grindhardplumbing does some pretty serious “toy” builds. Might give you some inspirational ideas.

So what did you pull your engine off of? What gearbox? Is it a 4, 5, or did you luck out and find one with a 6 speed box?

I’ll check the wheel base when I get home but I wanna say it’s about 3 1/2 maybe 4 but I’ll check tonight for an exact number as for the motor it’s off an 87 Honda vt500c and it does have a six speed

Hey, but go-kart, try making a body out of paper mache (Like the build break repeat). Not that I think this would not last long at all, but I just want to see it done. It might be fun, plus, it's basically free. Just an idea.

good idea i tried card board and it just fell off so i can try paper mache most likely im doing a power wheels body unless a toddler bed is the perfect wheel base

I know the wheel base is longer than a power wheels just not sure how much longer and the toddler bed would probably be cheaper but you definitely have a lot more design options with a power wheels as for the paper mache im gonna need to go watch bbr and see how that works out!
