Help with identifying Make & Model?

Just picked this up off OfferUp the other day with plans to restore and get her ripping again. I've done some google searches and have found similar karts, but not an exact match. The seat says "Phoenix" on it. Hoping someone here might be able to help, thanks!

^^Yup, made by Phoenix Engineering, which was previously Bird Engineering. I have a Bird myself.
Definitely a related model to the Baja, since it has the characteristic engine plate, engine cage, and factory differential.
Probably a later incarnation, because I've never seen a member of the Baja family with that cage.
Or it might be a Baja, but just a later version.
Assuming there was no major changes to the karts in the model lineup in the company's lifetime, we can safely rule out the Baja, Baja Magnum, and my kart as well, the Starbird.
The names may have changed when the company became Phoenix Engineering, but I don't know.
I'm not positively ruling things out or ID'ing your kart, but just giving all the info I know.
P.S - Couldn't find any old Sears/Montgomery Ward ads with your kart with an internet search.

EDIT - It's also got a Tecumseh OHV engine. Personally I'd swap to a Briggs flathead, but that's a matter of opinion.

@JTSpeedDemon - Thanks! Picked it up for $100 so I'm pretty excited. I have a Predator 212cc/6.5hp motor I'm going to throw on for the time being, but I would like to get the Tecumseh cleaned up (it runs, but pretty rough & needs a good cleaning both inside and out).

I'm new to both Jackshafts and Torque Converters, but I would like to swap out the centrifugal clutch I currently have on the Predator with a TC. If I we're to do that, would I connect the TC directly to both the engine and the jackshaft (and by jackshaft, I mean the little axle that is connected to the main axle/differential)?

Not sure about that stepped-down crankshaft PTO, though. My guess is that engine was thrown on to make the sale (e.g. "go kart with an engine"). Might have never powered that kart.
I'd definitely go with a Predator/Clone 200-212cc.

You need TC/TAV (Torq-A-Verter) parts. Looks like 2 sheaves (variable belt pulleys) and a drive sprocket. Pity they're missing.

OP - As far as swapping to centrifugal clutch, I wouldn't. Chances are it'll need fab work to fit on there, and plus, torque converters are generally better.
It may even be a genuine Comet unit, in which case I'd keep it for sure!
