New Go Kart (old rusty junk lol)

So i found this it has been sitting outside for ten years so i bought it for 50$ lol.anyone know what this crap is it seems to be a indy kart it did have a body he said at one point, who knows tho. Any one know anything about it?

It does certainly look like it once had a body on it, with the side(I think they're called nerf bars) bars.

The frame is rusted through on one side but i have some scrap to fix it with

EDIT: definitely looks like a promo kart that once carried a fiberglass body. Only built for parades, 10 MPH and parking in front of stores as an eye-catcher and point of interest.

Looking right behind the front right wheel in the picture, I can see I think what you're talking about with the rust.
Pretty crusty.

Trevor, it's a small possibility that you have a Bird/Phoenix Engineering kart kinda like mine.
The pedals, steering wheel, seat back shape, and the scrub brake system look similar if not identical to mine.
