Me too. I got some hardware form Fastenal on the last couple of builds, and they put it in the heaviest duty Zip lock backs I have ever seen.
Very handy.
I also used a bunch of old medium size coffee cans in the past.
Those are handy cause they are big enough for axle hangars and other large parts.
Im starting to pick up more magnetic trays and dishes so I don't lose parts or tools while working. I may try to come up with a way to label and use the trays for projects in the future. I may go as far as labeling which sockets or wrenches I used to make it faster to find what I need.

I've picked up a couple beef jerky containers. Come with lids and can hold a good amount of parts.

Since i normally work with smaller things i've been using used tic tack boxes for nuts and screws. small ones like 4x40 6x32 etc..

I've been meaning to pick up a couple of the magnetic trays. HF has them for free some times.

So I've been planting out all these different plants from seed.

Peppers, tomatoes, what have you....and suddenly something hit me! Going through all these seeds, I never came across any Goji berries. I want to grow them this year. Deeper still, the fear runs that usually, when I am missing one pack of seeds, many more are with it.

Meanwhile, I do have Goji berries, maybe some seeds from them will sprout.

And I should plant some winter wheat , too.

I couldn't find my Goji berry seeds, but I came across this:

I completely forgot about this patch I designed for a C&W club when I was 13.

Ha ha, that was the name of their club. I failed miserably on the proportions of the hat and boots, but they liked it well enough to adopt it as their patch, send it to the embroideres and make me a lifelong member.

It's kinda hard to tell with it sideways.

Put down the blunt and turn your head, it's NOT SIDEWAYS!

Made a pecan cake tonight .

Basically, just a peanut butter cake, with pecan butter substituted.

GOOD STUFF!

I asked a Mexican woman who was selling tamales, if she was going to make "sweet tamales" for Christmas.

She said she would bring some by today "Dec.24th"..

She comes by asking me if I want chicken or pork. "What we have here is a failure to communicate.

I do have a Mexican family down the street, gonna bring some tamales tomorrow.

We'll see, I can make some serious tamales myself.

If you want to divulge in past posts, you may find, omong my many talelnts, I have many talents, and I'm accomplished at them, but ...by far...culinary prowess is right up there!

Went to Wal-Mart today. Needed wiper blades for the truck, wanted a new shovel and hoe for the garden. (They didn't have what I wanted. ) However, I was thinking about getting some spagnum peat moss to amend my garden beds, and found some 2.2 cu bales on clearance......for....wait for it...$2!!!!!

A slightly larger ( maybe 3.8 or 4 cubic ft.) bale is $20 usually. I'll bet even a "Speedy" guy could do this math!

I've bought 6....and I'm going back!

What to do?

A neighbor came over with a wayward dachshund, and I decided to foster it until claimed. (No telling how Sammy is going to react, but it growled at Sammy while in MY front yard, and Sammy didn't kill her....soooo, who knows.)

So, anyway , here's the dilemma: if the person comes to claim her, if she's only been missing a day or two, would you give her back?

She is skin and bones.

First, I'd have to say, the dog isn't yours.
Second, you don't know the story.
Third, who makes you the judge?

I'd wait and see.

Possession is nine POINTS of the law!
(That makes me judge!)

I'm not making ANY assumptions, just a little leary of the circumstances. I would certainly not want to separate any dog from it's RIGHTFUL owner...but not EVERYONE deserves that privilege.

As far as "Wait and See" ...what post are YOU reading?

Meanwhile, Sammy is NOT pleased! I thought maybe this little dog needed to go out...I went out back, she stood in the doorway looking, then took off further into the house when I reached for her. I went back in , sat in the recliner, and this little dog jumped in and attacked my face with it's tounge like I had just returned from being lost at sea for a year.
