Step 1.
Make sure it fits.
Check!

Step 2.
Put on TC and check sprocket alignment.
It is already heavy to the right side and might need to be moved over more.

Counter-sunk offset bolts if it needs?
New holes in original mounting plate?
If it needs to be moved too much, I'll need a new exhaust :(

Step 3.
See if NASCAR Ray or somebody with a band saw will cut it.

Step 4.
Padded shorts.

Step 5.
Polish ... Sausage.

I know on one of my mini bikes I just cut the lower fin, I end up cutting off approximately 3 inches of the aluminum backing plate, and still no problems to this day with it.

So 5.4 : 1 with 0.9 : 1 ODrive from the TC. 4.86 High Gear.

55mph at 6500 rpm.

Something like 310 lbs linear force at launch (counting for 20% loss)

---------- Post added at 11:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:16 PM ----------

Bike plus rider weight???
280lbs?

---------- Post added at 11:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:18 PM ----------

2100 Rpm engagement is 6 mph
3100 RpM engagement is 9 mph

Maybe I'll try one of each spring???
Maybe that's a bad idea?

Cam probably has peak Tq around 3500 and peak HP around 5500???
Maybe shifted 1000 RPM higher???

---------- Post added at 11:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:25 PM ----------

So many decisions to make.

Comet or Knock Off Units?
What Back Plate?
What DriveR springs?
What DriveN spring?
What DriveN Preload Hole?

Is 55 mph too fast?
Is 55 mph too slow?
Is 300 lb linear force too much at launch?

Maybe swap the 10 T for a 12 T???
65+mph at 6500 RPM

35+mph at 3500 RPM.

Just kinda guessing.

The engine pulled the buggy to 47mph
at 6650 rpm.

7.5 :1 with 16"

Going to try

5.4 : 1 with 14"????

Around 40% less total weight??

So keep your filthy greasy fingers off my dry graphite spray lube you SOB.

Should have never mentioned it should keep grass off the bottom of a lawnmower deck.

Now I must buy more lube. NOT AS FUN AS IT MAY SOUND.

FOR A TC,
