The mechanical airheart disk brakes with the 6" rotor are awsome! They lock up my 2, 9" wide turf savers on pavement with ease!

thats a good thing to know Tyler. probably way cheaper for him than using hydraulic. and man if they work that good I may use them on my next project. thanks man

Yeah those two parts look good. Just dont forget that the axle has a 3/4 step down on it and to buy the correct hubs. Also I recomend buying the floating caliper mount for that airheart brake. It makes life alot easier!

I was just gonna fabricate my own mount looks easy enough. Can you use those brakes without a live axle?

ok so... about that axle from ebay. what kind of tires would i need and wat kind of hub would i need?

You match the hub and tire. For the axle you need a hub with a 3/4 stepdown on the end. Just look at the axle dimensions and the hub demensions and see if there compatable. Normally if you go to a go kart website they show exact measurments of the hub.
